Pioneer Mobile Video

The Ultimate Cure for Vehicular Boredom. For maximum fun on the road, you've got to include DVD Video and DVD Audio. How can you top DVD movies in 5.1 Dolby® Digital and DTS? Or, the intensely rich and detailed music that DVD Audio delivers?

You can start from scratch with a complete, ready-to-rock system like our new AVH-P7500DVD. Or, add onto your current system with select components. With us, either way, your vehicle will never be boring again!

Or, if you’re upgrading your mobile entertainment system and you want rear-seat video, either for yourself or for your little people. But there’s something holding you back:
  • A. You drive a leased vehicle and you can’t make any modifications.
  • B. You own a sedan which has neither the overhead room for a display, nor big enough headrests
    to build in a display.
  • C. Neither A nor B applies but you just don’t want a full-blown custom install.

Our Pioneer  AVD-W6200 is the perfect solution. It’s a 6.5” Active-Matrix LCD Color Widescreen Display that plays DVDs, video games, TV, and any other kind of video you’ve got. It comes with two AV inputs, and one AV output. And to hold it in place, it’s bundled with a quick-release install kit that you can install in about ten minutes—no drilling or cutting required.

The Install Kit wraps around the bottom of the front passenger seat’s headrest. The AVD-W6200 display easily connects into the kit’s arm via a quick-release mechanism. You swivel the display into position for ideal rear-seat viewing, and that’s it. The display
is held securely in place between the driver’s seat and front passenger seat, and it’s neither in the driver’s way nor in the driver’s peripheral vision.

When the show’s over, simply disconnect the display via the quick-release mechanism, and swivel the kit’s flexible arm back in, under the headrest. It’s rear-seat entertainment, made easy.
